Automated Beat Uploads, Explained

Finishing a beat is the creative part. Getting it live is not. Between the bounce and the four live links sits a chain of small, repetitive jobs, and every one of them has to be done the same way every time or your catalogue stops looking like a catalogue. Automating that chain is what Audia is for. Here is exactly what it does, step by step.

What actually happens between the bounce and the link

Publishing one beat properly means reading the key and tempo, writing a title that matches how artists search, writing tags and a description, setting your licence pricing on the marketplaces, making a video for YouTube and artwork for the other three, attaching your stems, tagging any collaborators and setting their splits, and then uploading four separate times through four separate interfaces. None of it is difficult. All of it is slow, and all of it is the same every time.

That last part is the important one. Work that is identical every time is work a machine should be doing.

Step one: the file

You drop in a WAV or an MP3, exported from any DAW. Audia works on the audio, not on project files, so it does not care whether the beat came out of FL Studio, Ableton, Logic, Reaper, Studio One, Bitwig or anything else. There is no plugin to install and nothing to change about how you work.

Step two: the preset

A preset is where your decisions live. It holds your title template, your description template, your artist and genre targeting, your visualiser and artwork preferences, and your licence pricing. You build one per niche. After that, every beat in that niche uses it, and step two stops being a decision at all.

This is the part that makes the rest of it work. A preset is the difference between automating a task and automating a judgement. You make the judgement once.

Step three onwards: Audia, unattended

From here you are not involved. Audia reads the key and tempo from the audio itself. It writes the title, the tags, the description and the metadata each platform expects, built from your templates and your targeting, and it applies your licence pricing to the marketplaces. It builds the visual, either one of the visualisers in the library or a still image or your own footage. Then it publishes.

Publishing means YouTube, BeatStars, SoundCloud and Airbit, or whichever of those you have chosen, because you pick which platforms are in use. Stems go up alongside the beat. Collaborators are tagged and their profit and publishing percentages are set. If you have scheduled the release, it lands at the time you set instead of immediately. Every link comes back into your upload history, where you can filter it and export it to CSV or JSON.

Doing it to more than one beat at once

The same run works on a batch. Queue several beats, give each one its own preset and visual or let them all inherit the same one, and start it. Pro handles up to five in a batch, Industry up to ten. Your involvement does not scale with the number of beats, which is the entire point.

What it does not do

Audia does not write your music, master your audio, or decide what a beat should sound like. It does not touch the creative work at all. It handles the chain between a finished bounce and four live links, and nothing else.

Frequently asked questions

What does Audia automate exactly?

Key and tempo detection, the title, tags, description and platform metadata, licence pricing for the marketplaces, the visual, stems, collaborator tagging and splits, scheduling, and the upload itself to YouTube, BeatStars, SoundCloud and Airbit.

Do I need a specific DAW?

No. Audia works on exported audio rather than project files, so any DAW that bounces a WAV or MP3 works. There is no plugin to install.

Do I have to publish to all four platforms?

No. You choose which platforms are in use, per preset or per beat, and Audia only uploads to the ones you have picked.

Can I edit what it writes before it goes live?

Yes. The listing is generated from your templates and targeting, and you can edit any of it before the upload runs.
