Security
Audia posts to your accounts and nothing else. Here’s exactly what it can reach, and where your sign-ins are kept.
How you sign in
YouTube, SoundCloud, TikTok and Instagram use each platform’s own official sign-in. Audia never sees those passwords. You can remove Audia’s access at any time from the platform’s own settings, or with Disconnect in Audia.
For BeatStars and Airbit, you sign in yourself, in a Chrome window Audia opens. Audia never sees or stores those passwords, and the sign-in stays in Chrome on your computer.
What Audia can do on YouTube
Audia only asks for permission to upload. It can’t read, change or delete anything else on your channel. Disconnecting YouTube in Audia also removes Audia’s access at Google.
Where your sign-ins are kept
- YouTube and SoundCloud: on your computer, in the Mac Keychain or Windows Credential Manager.
- TikTok: on Audia’s server, encrypted, so scheduled posts go out even when your computer is off.
- Instagram: encrypted on your computer. Audia’s server holds an encrypted copy only while you have posts waiting, and it’s deleted when you disconnect.
- BeatStars and Airbit: in Chrome on your computer.
Your beats
- Long-form videos are made on your own computer.
- Short-form videos for TikTok and Instagram are held on secure cloud storage only until they’re posted, then deleted.
- YouTube links in Upload History are removed after 30 days, as YouTube’s rules require.
Payments
Payments go through Stripe. Audia never sees your card details.
Deleting your data
How to delete your data is on the data deletion page. The privacy policy sets out what is stored and for how long.
